Meet Dr. Joe Lasley

“Dr. Joe” Lasley is the Founder, Coach, and Gamemaster of Gamenamic Leadership. He consults and teaches Leadership, Organizational Studies, and Game Design specializing in experiential and transformational learning that uses leadership coaching to empower inner development. His areas of expertise include Systems Thinking, Adult Development, Consciousness, Group Relations, Adaptive Leadership, Team Creativity, Play, Game-Based Learning, and Applied Role-Playing Games. Joe has a B.S. in Organizational Communication and Psychology, a M.S. in Higher Education Administration, a graduate certificate in Organizational Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies. He received International Coaching Federation Certified training in Leadership Development Coaching from the University of San Diego and Air University.

Joe views leadership development as evolving together by becoming co-designers of shared experiences. To do this, he focuses energy on generating developmental interactions and facilitating a creative process that helps people gain deeper awareness and build personal agency in group dynamics. Joe embodies coaching as a collaborative process for developing a creative presence in the relationship between coach and client. Working together, we reveal the potential for the client to explore their self-determined goals for increasing awareness, living with purpose, and transforming thoughts, attitudes, feelings, and behavior. His approach integrates Curiosity, Flow, Appreciative Inquiry, Action Learning, Motivational Interviewing, Socratic Inquiry, and Serious Play.
